About us

We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland, here to serve the parish of Cromarty. The elderly are an important part of the congregation, but so are the young. When the Sunday School is in session, there are normally thirty or more young people at the front of the church involved in the first part of the service. They make a unique — and very welcome — contribution to the atmosphere in the West Church!

We see ourselves as called to live out the gospel of the grace of God, to worship God in a spirit of faith, gratitude and prayer and to share the compassion of Christ in the parish as a whole. We would welcome fellowship with you, whatever your church background, on the basis of a shared commitment to the basics of the gospel of Christ.
