Daily prayer
The prayers are changed each evening with updates from various Church of Scotland web pages, selections taken from other prayer guides or diaries from World Mission, CrossReach, Christian Aid and others. Prayers this week come from the Blythswood Care Prayer Diary for September 2010.

Linkage
The current state of the planned linkage between the parishes of Cromarty and Resolis & Urquhart is described in the May 2008 Linkage Newsletter. The 'Basis for Linkage' document has been endorsed by the Presbytery of Ross. Arrangements have been made to align the retirement dates of the Rev. John Tallach and the Rev. Grant Bell in order to smooth the path towards linkage. Both charges will become vacant on 5 November 2010. The Rev Fraser Stewart of Contin Church has been appointed Interim Moderator and a joint Cromarty/Resolis & Urquhart Vacancy Committee formed to seek a new Minister.
