Church notices
Here you will find notices relating to up-coming church services and activities. Other notices of community and congregational interest are given at the bottom on the page.

The 'News from 121' page gives the latest press releases from the Church of Scotland's Media Relations Unit and details of the August 2010 Life and Work magazine. New Christian bookshop opens next to '121'

Daily prayer
The prayers are changed each evening with updates from various Church of Scotland web pages, selections taken from other prayer guides or diaries from World Mission, CrossReach, Christian Aid and others. Prayers this week come from the CrossReach Prayer Letter, June–September 2010.
Sunday service    
Details of the order of service are usually updated on the Friday prior to the Sunday service. Order of service for 1 August 2010

Linkage
The current state of the planned linkage between the parishes of Cromarty and Resolis & Urquhart is described in the May 2008 Linkage Newsletter. The 'Basis for Linkage' document has been endorsed by the Presbytery of Ross. Arrangements have been made to align the retirement dates of the Rev. John Tallach and the Rev. Grant Bell in order to smooth the path towards linkage. Both charges will become vacant on 5 November 2010. The Rev Fraser Stewart of Contin Church has been appointed Interim Moderator and a joint Cromarty/Resolis & Urquhart Vacancy Committee formed to seek a new Minister.
