The linked parishes of Cromarty with Resolis & Urquhart are seeking a minister. In anticipation of the joint retirement of our current ministers in November 2010 the Kirk Sessions of the two congregations quickly set about working together to build relationships and work between our congregations.

We hope that our new minister will share our commitment to these key areas:
     ► Christ-centred and Bible-based ministry
     ► Proclaiming the good news of the Gospel
     ► Reaching out to our local communities
     ► Encouraging team work and the full use of gifts in the church
     ► Time and space for prayer, study and personal development
     ► A dependence on the Holy Spirit in all we do

Our Vision
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our newly linked congregations as minister. We have already started meeting to work together to support each other and our new minister. We view our new minister’s role as one of teaching and leading. We wish to see the new minister supported by both office bearers and the whole congregation by making use of the gifts of all. The man or woman who responds to this call will be motivated by a desire to see the whole church of God built up to serve our Lord.

We also seek to support our minister by providing you with the support to allow you time for personal prayer, growth and study both on a weekly and long term basis. We are open to applications from both serving ministers, and those who are currently completing their training and probationary period.
