Into All the World

Local supporters of the Wycliffe Bible Translators from Cromarty and Fortrose join together to meet for prayer four times a year. Occasionally, we have the pleasure of a visit from a Wycliffe missionary who is in Scotland at the time.

We are more actively involved in supporting the work of Blythswood Care. Towards Christmas-time the children and other groups help to gather items suitable for making up shoe boxes which are then transported to Eastern Europe for distribution to needy families. In November 2007, 121 Cromarty shoe boxes were collected for dispatch to Serbia. Thank you to everyone who contributed items and boxes, especially members of the congregation, staff and pupils of Fortrose Academy and Cromarty Primary School.

The children are also involved in financial support for a disabled Palestinian boy called Charbel. He is cared for by the BibleLands organisation at Al Kafa'at (Cedars Capability Centre) in Beirut, Lebanon.
