Into All the World


Local supporters of the Wycliffe Bible Translators from Cromarty and Fortrose join together to meet for prayer four times a year. Occasionally, we have the pleasure of a visit from a Wycliffe missionary who is in Scotland at the time.

We are more actively involved in supporting the work of Blythswood Care. Towards Christmas-time the children and other groups help to gather items suitable for making up shoe boxes which are then transported to Eastern Europe or India/Pakistan for distribution to needy families. In 2009 we filled 161 boxes for Moldova.

Over several years, the Sunday School children have financially support two disabled Lebanese children at Al Kafa'at (Cedars Capability Centre) in Beirut, Lebanon. Charbel and Batoul have now moved to other accommodation. In February 2010 a final donation of £91 was given to BibleLands for general use.
